Collection of four separate but related documents with texts for promulgation of an Edict of faith (Cádiz 1776) and pronouncement of anathema (both printed), and different types of abjuration and absolution formulas in cases of heresy (manuscript). Contains signatures and wax seals.

Inquisition trial on demonic possession, 1634-1661
An account of an inquisition trial held in the vicinity of Rome against a woman accused of being possessed by the devil, after she killed someone with a musket while cursing and behaving in an obscene manner. The defendant was condemned to death by the Holy Inquisition.
